The use of a dust shutter adapter helps to ensure a dust-free connection.GoodFtth's dust shutter is placed over the end of an LC or SC adapter.The shutter automatically opens when a plug is inserted and closes when the fiber port is removed, providing a dust-free connection. Unlike the regular fiber adapter, the shuttered adapter has a shutter mechanism to help prevent contaminants from entering the ferrule end face.All the materials are RoHS compliant and meet EIA/TIA standard.
